hello and nice to meet you! my name is barri (pronounced BAR-EEEE). three years ago, this website was created! the reason for its creation was due to my previous fixation with creating carrds. once i found out that there was a completely free way to create more complex sites, i decided to ditch carrd and move onto neocities LOL. my website is an outlet for me to scream my thoughts!!! i treat it like a digital diary, a safe haven for me to talk about whatever i want to talk about. i feel like on modern social media sites i can't really write paragraphs upon paragraphs of character analyzations or media reviews and the such. this website serves to fulfill my itch for writing essays on things that nobody probably really cares about. but it matters!!! to me!!!! and i hope you can find something fun in it too ^_^

sometimes i feel like the biggest failure ever. i dwell on a lot of things, and i have severe anxiety that heavily hinders my daily life. because of this, i often feel irritated for no good reason. HOWEVER! despite my mental illnesses, i still try to live my life happily! i lean heavily towards optimism. i've been brought down many, many times, but that won't stop me from believing that the next day will be better! i love my friends and i hold them near and dear to my heart. my favorite food is a cheeseburger with no sauces, onions, or pickles. i have a dog who i love very very much!!! his name is poseidon and he's the biggest goofball i know ^_^ even though i am different from the norm, i am still human. love yourself for who you are and never feel ashamed to express yourself. being weird is awesome!!!
